    [Derby] Medina Spirit & Baffert::

Ok gang we know Baffert's history. Probably the worst was where several of his runners or potential runners passed with the administering of a thyroid med I believe. I believe this is the way we should be looking at this violation. When anabolic steroids were being used many were using them. Racing is not tolerating cheating and or abuse. Not even the top trainers are going to recieve a pass. Racing officials know what this looks like. So kudos to all, even Bob for addressing it right away and not moaning like a baby. I'm sure if upheld he will take it like he deserves it. Betamethasone is not a PED. It can be administered into joints of horses to relieve discomfort. It is a corticosteroid, it is man made and it resembles what is produced by the adrenal gland. So let's see the split sample, if upheld let's give racing credit for upholding the rules of a Class C drug violation. Along with showing all involved it will not be tolerated.
I for one am looking forward to the days the rest of the globe abides by is this sport, no race day meds. We are headed that way. We are now dealing with as players, (L) on, (L) off in some cases. When the game is drug free it makes it fair and I believe safer.
Just read in the Post where the human skank who steered America into the ground for 4 years called the horse a "junky." Anyway to find reason to spew hate and or rubbish where those who chose to listen can argue in his behalf. What a $%#&(!
Sorry for that, but really? Calling a horse a "junky" and saying the Country is going to hell in a handbasket because of a positive in horseracing. He and Alex Jones can lock arms and jump into any body of water on the planet.
