I don't really have an opinion on many of the races today except...
Race 7 Copper Horse
I'm not sure why we did not see Vauban on the flat last year. He won the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival, but was put away for a hurdle campaign this year and was very, very, very disappointing. Stuffed in every race and very one paced, in stark contrast to the previous year.
He towers over the field today. If he wins well at 3/2, then he will probably be favourite for the Ebor Handicap at York in August (the richest handicap in Europe).
I hope we see the real Vauban today, but at 3/2, no thanks.
OTHER RACES
Instacapping says:
Race 4: Chaldean should be shorter than 3/2. Wins easy.
Race 5: Weston!

Race 1 - Queen Anne Stakes
No opinion
Race 2 - Coventry Stakes
I made the mistake of handicapping the entries in the Racing Post. I came up with three decent priced horses, but they were all the declared. Sadly, it was the American version of the “declared” and not the British one. I tell you handicapping thirty something horses for no reason was like handicapping a whole canceled Belmont card.
Anyway, I couldn’t go without an opinion
#13 Haatem (20/1) - He dwelt badly last out and couldn’t quite get clear for a late run on the rail in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom.
Race 3 - Kingstand
#12 High Field Princess (3/1) - Seems like the right horse here.
Over
#7 Mitbaahy (15/1) - Should improve over last.
#5 Existent (99/1) - Not much room until late last. I am not sure why this horse is this morning line.
Race 4 - St. James Palace
#6 Isaac Shelby (8/1) and #9 Royal Scotsman (15/1) - Fit here.
Race 5 - Ascot Handicap
#2 - Calling The Wind (15/1) - Has beaten many of these horses.
#10 - Pleasant Man (20/1) - Caught in speed duel and tired very late.
Race 6 - Haven’t looked at it.
