Yikes, I noticed two of my three turf horses lost pretty soundly the next time out.

I hope the NYRA focuses on these surfaces as seasonal ones. For example, I would hope that they would run on artificial in the winter and come back to dirt in the summer. And in the summer the artificial would only be used as a off the turf surface. Running two dirt courses (artificial and sand) and the turf on one card makes the play too enigmatic for the players.
I wish HISA nothing but success in their endeavors. I hope that at some point they look at the integrity of the betting pools. Our betting pools are in dire need of some oversight and regulation. It is a free for all out there.
