Long time no hear. :) :) The GM back then was a fellow named Dan Bucci. He worked for Buddy LeRoux who was a tremendously egotistic and a bit of an unstable businessman. Hmmm. Buddy was a heavy hitter with his own terminal in his office area. Anyway, Buddy asked Danny whom he liked in the ninth race. Danny was a well known great handicapper. Danny, really didn’t like the idea of being put in that position by his boss. Andy asked Buddy whom he liked. Buddy said the #10. Danny dropped the subtle hint that the #1 won the last eight races. Buddy, bet the #10 anyway and lost as would be expected. Danny got out there as quickly as he possible.
