[Derby] Tales of track bias
Dear all When Southwell in the UK opened its all weather track (fibresand, and most like a US track in the the UK) there appeared to be a bias towards horses drawn in the middle of the track around 6,7 and 8. Turned out that the equipment that they used to harrow the the track was slightly wider than half the width of the track. As you say in the the US, go figure! It's no surprise to me that, on the very rare occasion that I hit an exacta at the BC, the horse in second is nearly always the one horse. All the best Dave _______________________________________________ Derby mailing list Posting: Derby at lists.derbylist.com Sub/Unsub: http://lists.derbylist.com/listinfo.cgi/derby-derbylist.com
